Upcoming Meetings
AHIMA Academy for ICD-10-CM/PCS
The AHIMA Academy for ICD- 10 is a
dynamic training program that teaches
coding professionals the ICD-10-CM/
PCS coding system while instructing
them on how to train other professionals on the system. The academy includes a combination of online courses
(self-paced) and face-to-face training.
After successfully completing the online and face-to-face training portions,
attendees may choose to complete an
assessment in order to receive an AHIMA Trainer Certificate.
In order to provide you with the most
current and accurate information on
ICD- 10 with the most recent code updates, AHIMA will start conducting
2011 ICD- 10 Academies in the second
quarter. The Ingenix code books provided as part of the program will also
be updated by the publisher early in the
second quarter and attendees will receive the most recent copy.
