Manager, Data Quality

Conveniently located near the PA/DE/MD border in
Northeast Maryland, our hospital wins awards for
delivering quality care to patients in Cecil County and
beyond. We seek a medical records professional to
lead the staff in daily coding/abstracting functions.
You will oversee workflow systems; monitor
compliance with policies/procedures; conduct audits;
and serve as the coding expert for all clinical and
medical staff. Requires a degree in HIM or related
discipline, CCS certification and 2-3 years’ experience
with ICD-9-CM, CPT 4, HCPCS and DRG grouper
coding. Prefer some leadership experience, knowl-
edge of 3M encoder and RHIA/RHIT credentials.
