x Technology and media obsolescence. Central storage of
nontext data is critical for the management of information from outdated systems and media. There are many
approaches offered by storage vendors to ensure safe, replicated storage, both locally and remotely. Software compatibility, both inside the practice and with potential vendors, needs to be evaluated to ensure the nontext data are
continually available, retrievable, and reproducible. ¢
