AHIMA Academy for ICD-10-CM/PCS
ICD- 10 is less than two years away. If
you haven’t already been trained in this
new coding system, now is the time.
There are still a few AHIMA Academy
for ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-CM/PCS
remaining for 2011. These dynamic
training programs teach you to be proficient in the ICD-10-CM/PCS coding
systems and to train others on the systems.
The training program consists of a
prerequisite self-paced online course
followed by a two-day in-person training program during which participants
are guided through coding exercises.
Upon completion of both the online
course and the in-person workshop,
participants can take a self-assess-ment to earn an AHIMA Trainer Certificate.
