Specialist
Under the supervision and direction
of the Assistant Director of Radiology,
responsible for the review and
verification of coding performed by
clinical staff within the Interventional
Radiology department. Also responsible for analyzing and resolving claim
denials, rejected edits, or errors from
the Patient Accounts department.
Would serve as a resource for all
departments of Radiology.
Qualifications: Certification and
a minimum of ( 3) years of coding
experience with at least ( 2) years of
coding for Interventional Radiology in
an acute care facility, preferably in a
teaching hospital.
